Elevator talking?

Post lunch, a bunch of girls got into the elevator, having a very giggly conversation.. then
Girl 1: 16th floor girls, keep quiet
Girl 2: You keep quiet lah, you are short

Well, she was short, compared to the others
This must be one of those things I'm not supposed to understand
